An Old Barn pt.1

Just Because I Wanted To.

I woke up one morning, when I was a youngster, and stretched out on the bed. After laying there for a moment, I wondered what to do with such a wonderfull day.

"I'm on spring break." I said.

Right then I sprung up, scootched over the edge, and dropped down on the clothes I'd worn the night before. Dressed then, I went straight towards the kitchen-which was my usuall routine-and scarfed down a bowl of cereal. After that, I headed out the door, into the front yard, and stood outside noticing the mist from an earlier rain.

"It stopped raining just in time." I said.

The timing was too perfect. And I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to go inside that old barn. Now, I had never been inside that creepy barn, and honestly, I'd never wanted to because it was too scary. But there was something in the air that day, something special, and it made me want to take a chance I'd never taken before.
